Omari Aarons-Martin

Omari has worked with Fortune 150 companies his entire career as a disruptive leader and transformation coach. Often, Omari has built infrastructures to support culture change efforts and originated roles at Apple’s Higher Education Division, Macy’s customer service and stores divisions, and Liberty Mutual Insurance’s Global Retail Markets business unit. In 2019, Omari founded the Aarons Group LLC, a diversity and inclusion workplace consulting firm.
A strong champion of inclusion, Omari is a proud graduate of the YW Boston’s LeadBoston 2020 cohort. Omari is the executive director and chief operating officer of the National African American Insurance Association and serves on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts, Roxbury Community College, and common cathedral.
Insurance Business America honored Omari with their inaugural Leader of Change award in September 2020 and the Rising Star Award in October 2020. Omari was selected by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce as a 2020 Ten Outstanding Young Leader and as a 2021 40 LGBTQ Leaders Under 40 for North America by Business Equality Magazine.
Omari earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Xavier University and is currently a Howard Thurman Fellow and Master of Divinity Candidate at Boston University School of Theology.
