Iliana Panameño and Mu-Chieh Yun (former LeadBoston Program Associate), the dynamic duo responsible for this inspiring platform, have collaborated to build “a network of women who take pride in their lived experiences and are redefining what it means to be both a woman and a person of color.”

These young women are making powerful moves in the realms of culture, education and civic engagement.  Through a partnership with the Cambridge Public Library, they kicked off Women’s History Month with a panel called Women of Color Making History.   The panel, made up of Sonia Espinosa, Amma Marfo, and ChrysanthemumTran, focused on sharing personal narratives and the lessons explored on each of their unique journeys.

Through a mix of beautifully expressed, clear thought, humor, and dialogue, they explored the intricacies of several different “isms” and gave much needed and much welcomed, practical advice on how to use creative thinking to navigate the challenges of the current political landscape.
