Annis R. Gill-Miller is an accomplished financial services executive with over three decades of experience in banking and community leadership. A native North Carolinian who made Boston her home in the late 1980s, she has built an impressive career across prominent financial institutions including Bank of Boston, Citizens Bank, Bank of America, Salem Five Bank, Eastern Bank and currently serves as a Commercial Loan Officer/Vice President at Northern Bank. Throughout her career, she has excelled in driving sales production, executing strategic initiatives, and developing top talent across diverse market territories in Greater Boston. 

Annis pairs her professional achievements with dedicated community service, serving as Board Chair of E inc, an environmental education nonprofit, and actively participating in organizations such as the YW-Boston’s Academy of Women Achievers Fundraising Committee and the UMASS Boston Emerging Leaders Program Alumni Board. She was most recently appointed as a Deacon at Jubilee Christian Church Boston, Mass. Her expertise has been recognized in various Boston Business Journal features, including articles on women’s executive leadership and business lending. 

A graduate of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro with a BA in Psychology and Economics, Annis has found her educational background to be the perfect foundation for combining her passion for business development with community advocacy. You can see her advocacy through her civic, church and volunteer work. Her approach to leadership seamlessly integrates financial expertise with a deep commitment to community development, making her a respected figure in both the banking industry and civic engagement spheres. 

Annis embodies her foundation of serving others. She authentically represents her values and passions while being guided by her faith. She is the mother of one son, Charles. She is an avid gardener, enjoys a good walk while listening to gospel, classical and jazz music.
