Kimara Merceron leads the charge in expanding the prestigious LeadBoston Program at YW Boston, where she serves as Manager of Partnerships. Driven by a passion for connecting people and building impactful collaborations, Kimara expertly recruits and cultivates new program participants. She brings a wealth of experience to this role, including serving as Senior Manager of Internship Recruitment at the College for Social Innovation, where she honed her skills in relationship building and partnership development. Kimara’s background also includes dedicated service in the AmeriCorps Program, College Advising Corps at Boston University, where she empowered Boston Public High School students in their post-secondary planning.

Kimara’s academic credentials include a BA in International Relations from Suffolk University and a Master’s in Education from Boston University, providing her with a strong foundation in both global perspectives and educational best practices. She brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to YW Boston

Beyond her professional pursuits, Kimara cherishes time spent with her loved ones. A passionate traveler, she embraces the adventure of exploring new destinations and immersing herself in diverse cultures. And recently, she’s happily embraced a new role as a dog mom, showering her adorable Maltipoo, Brooklyn, with affection and spoiling her shamelessly.
