Something for Everyone: A Guide to Greater Boston’s 2024 Pride Events
Pride Month is a time of celebration, reflection, and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community, commemorating the ongoing fight for equality and recognition. Rooted in the historic Stonewall Riots of 1969, Pride has grown from a moment of resistance into a global movement that champions the rights and visibility of LGBTQ+ individuals. Each year, cities worldwide host vibrant events that not only celebrate the progress made, but also acknowledge the challenges that remain. As we honor the legacy of those who fought and continue to fight bravely for LGBTQ+ rights, we invite you to join in the festivities, support the community, and stand in solidarity with those who continue to advocate for justice and equality.
Here is a list of Pride events taking place in and around Boston this year. From parades, to parties, to brunches, to sports, to book clubs, there’s something for everyone!
